Sometimes technology, collaboration, and a passion for innovation come together in a remarkable way. That was the case during the visit of Aurea's PPortfolio DDirector Sebastian, who has started his European tour from El Salvador visiting suppliers, partners, and customers, and we had the honor of being the first European partner on his agenda.
Together with the director Michael consultant Bart Sebastian paid a visit to Rijk Zwaan Nederland, one of our largest clients. A visit that went much further than just an introduction. In open and energetic conversations, the history of our collaboration, the sustainable future vision, and mutual expectations for the coming years were extensively discussed. One topic kept coming up: innovation.
The discussions confirmed how important strong partnerships are in a world where technology and business are growing closer together. By looking ahead together, new opportunities arise to make processes smarter, more efficient, and more future-proof.
Journey through the Rijk Zwaan chain
What made this day extra special was the unique insight into the world of Rijk Zwaan. To truly understand end-users better as a software supplier and implementation partner, we together followed the complete journey of lettuce: from laboratory research and development to seed breeding, production, and global distribution. An impressive process that was presented to us by Bouke with visible enthusiasm and enormous knowledge.
The journey through the chain not only showed how complex and innovative the sector is, but also what Rijk Zwaan excels at worldwide. A fascinating example of how science, innovation, and chain management come together.
The secret to sustainable collaboration
The visit gave Sebastian a deeper insight into Rijk Zwaan's information flows, challenges, and ambitions. The Portfolio Director immediately translated those insights into energy and ideas by actively contributing to potential solutions, such as Aurea at Bluecore Rijk Zwaan can be supported even better. And that's exactly what makes collaboration stronger: not just knowing each other as customer and supplier, but also truly understanding what's happening behind (or in the case of CRM) on the screens.
An inspiring kickoff to Sebastian's ‘Eurotrip’ and, in our opinion, a beautiful confirmation that sustainable collaboration begins with genuine connection.
